Analysys Mason is currently recruiting volunteers to give their views of telecommunications services for the Filipino community in the UK.
Who qualifies?
Any first or second generation Filipino who has lived in the UK for more than 6 months and owns a mobile phone.
When is it?
We will be holding two sessions in central London, the first will be on Thursday 21st May at 7pm. If you can’t make that date get in touch and we will arrange a mutually convenient date.
What will happen?
There will be around 10 volunteers at each session, we will discuss (over light refreshments) the various methods used to contact friends and relatives in the Philippines.

Hi, I would like to join in writing about the issue that affects the community of the Filipino here in Uk.
I would like to be known here as Britishfilipinawife. I am Filipina, live here in Uk for more than 6 months. I live in Coventry, West Midlands, Uk. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce in Business management, A graduate of Secretarial Course, and a 4th year Law student from Liceo De Cagayan University, Cagayan de oro City, Philippines.
I was working as office administrator in the law office in the Philippines from the beginning of my studies in law school. As a legal research, I do the research of laws, the drafting of documents related to cases handled by the law office.
I was a columnist of the local tabloid ” Sport at Balita in Cagayan de oro City, Philippines in 2004. I stop being a writer when this small company closed.
Having the knowledge, skills, typing speed, and the experienced I had, I believe that I am one of those people who may best help you, should give this oportunity be given.
I would like to write anything about Filipinos, how we are affected in British people and country, how we manage to keep or blend our behavior and how we adapt their ideas and ways of living, to enable us to get along and join the people in this country working towards progress and development for the peace and harmony of the entire world.
I want to write experiences, the sadness and happiness of the people from different Filipino Family, the marriage, their difficulties and their success.
Most especially how these British filipina wife trying to fit the new world that they are moving now, how kind and generous they are and how they play the important rule of preserving the culture and traditions of being a “Pround filipino” in this country.
I just got a job and hopefully would start this September. Pending the receipt of my Criminal Record from the Philippines “Certificate of good Conduct-UK Term”. This is the start of my first step towards living in United Kingdom in a world of British People.
